Really, I don't like how it works. A photo is taken and looks fine when viewed, BUT when submitted to Deviant art, the colours, tones, etc seem to change, usually for the worse!

A large 'sigh' of annoyance goes out to this problem

The end of the year has indeed come quick, and the festive season is now upon us like a mosquito looking for blood. As Christmas has turned into a even bigger hallmark holiday, the rest that goes with it (gah!) such as the new idea of 'space aged' decorations like the ones they have enforced upon us in our local shopping centers, with giant over sized silver everything!! like you just walked out of a Christmas version of Tim Burton's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' set or walked into a stupid wardrobe with a dumb goat man on the other side, and lights on houses? Whats with that? Some just look so tacky and shit that it makes me sick to think people actually dig that kind of shit!
Finally I have been granted with my new camera after a long time saving from my shitty minimum wage job. She be deemed a Nikon D80, with only a standard lens at this time. The news is quite cunning, as I was accepted in to the National Art School to do a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Exciting!
But Yes I am the Grinch, so Merry Fucking Christmas!!

Well its that time of year again and my course if coming to an end again. So many paintings and drawing and photo's to finish and mount, and so many nights and days slaving over them, but it will be all worth it in the end I keep telling myself . As soon as that is all done then comes the end of year exhibition on November 28 (for those people playing at home). Getting exited for that night and hopefully sell off some of my shit..
Finally I have completed my application to the National Art School, which now I'm waiting for them to process it, and hoping to get into it because its the only place I have a applied to.. oops! Though with two years under my belt I'm hoping they will welcome me with open arms.

AND very excited about getting a new camera soon, when I get some more money. My weapon will most likely be a Nikon DSLR, looking at the D80, which falls a bit over my price range, but getting a little bit more money should cover it.

I have been mainly posting my photography shit up here at the moment. But I do, do alot of other stuff. Been doing heaps of paintings over the past year and a half, and a shit load of drawings too.. (for those who care? lol I dont). But I'v been too lazy to photograph them and put them up, so yeaa. Just though I'd let any one who reads this know.
